Personal Statement
My practice combines industrial design, military experience, media production, and systems thinking.

LaNeal Nance
I am interested in how controlled decisions shape emotion and response. Whether the medium is film, photography, identity, or a digital experience, the work begins by defining what it needs to accomplish.
I do not rely on trends as a substitute for thinking. I build systems that can scale, adapt, and remain effective over time.
Much of my creative practice was shaped in environments where time, resources, access, and conditions were not always predictable.
Military service reinforced the value of preparation, adaptability, precision, and clear decision-making.
Those limitations became part of the process, not barriers to creative work, but conditions that sharpen the thinking behind it.
