Simeon Class of ’07 Archive
Photography · Video · Community · MemoryDocumenting the people I came up with.
Simeon is my high school, and the Class of 2007 gatherings gave me a chance to bring my professional media practice back into my own community. I began documenting the class through photography and video, not as a one-time event job, but as an archive I can continue building over the years.
Each year adds another chapter: the people who return, the relationships that stay connected, the moments that change, and even the years when I cannot be there.
Meet & Greet
The 2024 Meet & Greet captures the quieter beginning of the reunion cycle: conversations, reconnection, portraits, and candid moments before the larger cookout.
Alumni Cookout
The cookout expanded the project into a fuller event story, combining still photography with motion coverage so the energy, personalities, and atmosphere could live beyond the day itself.
Watch the Cookout
Video adds sound, movement, and interaction to the still archive.
Deployment Year
The missing year is part of the archive too.
I was deployed in 2025, so I could not document the gathering the way I had in 2024. Instead of hiding the gap, the archive acknowledges it. Long-term documentation is shaped by real life, availability, and the distance between one chapter and the next.
Return to the Cookout
The 2026 film continues the visual record after the deployment year and keeps the project moving as a living Class of '07 archive.
The archive continues.
New years can be added to this same page as the project grows.
